First of all, let me tell you, I am a BIG foodie, second, I’ve been hunting for Egyptian gem for the last few years. Trust me when I say, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE !!! hands down I’ve been visiting for the last few of years trying to find the freshest, the most delicious and authentic Egyptian food. Flavorful and delicious food. The fetter with honey is a sweet and crisp accompaniment to a meal. We also enjoyed the fresh hummus which had a good cumin flavor. We also really liked the beef and chicken shawarma platters.

Was in the area and in search of some solid Egyptian food and this place was an amazingly great place to eat! We asked the owner to recommend some dishes and everything came to absolute perfection! If anyone is in the DC area visiting or if you already live in the area - I highly highly recommend this restaurant.
